‘Quality as a priority’ is not just a slogan, but the heart of our approach: a globally standardised process across 12 production plants in order to maintain high quality, nutritional and safety standards in our finished products, which are available in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Quality starts from the smallest detail, and safety drives all its processes. Our products are essential for our consumers, which is why we carefully monitor every step of the process, from the field to the point of sale. Quality control teams constantly work with production colleagues to ensure that our products meet all requirements.
A strict, standardised and widely applied control system in all production hubs, which in particular makes it possible to avoid cross-contamination and manage allergens, is a fundamental requirement for Schär gluten-free products.
Quality means paying attention to the production process but also ensuring a good work-life balance for employees.
The company is challenging traditional working models in the factory and some of its plants, experimenting with flexible working models even outside the office, solutions that employees appreciate and meet market demand in terms of quantity and quality.
