A milestone in the history of our research and development activities was the creation of the Dr. Schär R&D Centre in the AREA Science Park in Trieste back in 2003.

Research and Innovation and Product Development

Situated in the Area Science Park in Trieste, the first science and technology park of worldwide renown, is the research centre of Dr. Schär - the Dr. Schär R&D Centre. Employing different groups of personnel highly qualified in a variety of scientific and technical disciplines, the centre carries out research, innovation and product development for the entire Dr. Schär group, to develop new food solutions to meet specific nutritional requirements, constantly renewing and improving the various products of the vast assortment it offers.
