After decades of experience, challenges and successes we finally have reached the kick-off of a brand new Schär BIO range.

Italy has tragically been one of the European nations most affected by COVID-19.  Lombardy, the region where record numbers in terms of infections and deaths have been reported, is the area
in which Dr. Schär's tangible help has been concentrated.

The situation we are facing with the Coronavirus is extremely challenging.

Postal, 10.10.2019. Dr. Schär, European market leader for gluten free nutrition and dietetic foods, is further expanding its international partnerships with two new branches in Argentina and Turkey. The aim of the manufacturer is to establish the Schär subsidiary brand in the premium segment of these markets and at the same time to create new important sales markets for its products.

Dr. Schär and its partners have presented the findings of the Re-Cereal research project at the AREA Science Park in Trieste. Around 100 representatives of international coeliac disease associations, journalists and nutritional specialists participated in the final conference held from 21 to 22 March. The goal of the research is to revive the cultivation of the cereals and pseudo cereals in the alpine region, study high-performance varieties and develop gluten-free foods.

Dr. Schär has signed an agreement on a strategic alliance with the Finnish company Raisio.
Raisio is a forerunner in cholesterol-lowering functional foods and an innovative expert in Finnish oats. Combined expertise of the companies opens new commercial opportunities for both.
